Without the focus on compassion, suffering will be inevitable.
Compassion flows three ways; compassion for others, compassion from others and compassion for ones-self. (self-compassion)
During the therapy process we explore your understanding of compassion and find mindful ways to develop your compassionate self.
We can step back, pause, breathe, process and reflect on what is more helpful ways to take care of ourselves which will have a positive rippling effect on being there more attentively for others too!
It is not our fault what genetics we were given or how our early life experiences evolved. If we feel limited, small and unresourceful within, our self-critic part is going to hinder our growth. Understanding learnt behaviours developed through family generations can offer us a choice to show up differently and gain more inner strength to make significant changes.
We are then able to take responsibility for how we act now, how we choose to continue to develop and grow as an adult in our own right.
In this short introduction video, I share my approach and what you can expect when working together.
